The StudioNow Platform
The StudioNow Platform is an enterprise bidding platform and production management tool. It allows users to source, evaluate, compare proposals, and select production vendors through a secure online bidding system. Users can use the software to manage the entire production process end-to-end.
A project team is made up of users who have been invited to participate on a project. These users may be from your company, a vendor company, or even from StudioNow if you have requested the help of a StudioNow producer.
RFP - Request for Proposal
An RFP solicits a proposal, made through a bidding process by an agency or company interested in the procurement of a service
The StudioNow Platform uses a system of stages to help determine at a high level where a project is in the course of production.
An Intake Draft is an incomplete Intake Form; the first step in starting a project on the StudioNow Platform. The platform automatically saves all changes as they are made. Once the user clicks “Submit” a project enters the Project Planning stage.
During this stage, vendors who have been requested to submit proposals are publishing their bids on the StudioNow Platform. At any time during in this stage a production manager can invite new vendors to bid on the project.
Bid Selection indicates that a user managing the bidding process has assembled and published the top bids. A published collection of bids contains bids from 1 or more vendor. Each bid can be revised by the vendor upon request, and a winning bid can be awarded by the production manager.
A producer is someone who is managing a project or soliciting bids on the StudioNow Platform.
A vendor is a user or company who submits solicited bids on projects.
