During the Bid Selection stage, a user can request a bid update from a vendor. To do so, navigate to the Bids tab, then hover over the bid that you would like to update. Click the contextual action menu (box with 3 dots) that appears in the top right corner of the bid card. Select “Request Bid Update” from the dropdown menu.
The user can specify the reason for requesting an update in the body of the notification email that will be sent to the vendor. After the request has been sent to the vendor, the user can reference previous versions of a bid through the contextual action menu.
