Improved password complexity requirements
When a user is creating an account for the first time or resetting an existing password, they will be required to create a password that meets specific complexity standards. These requirements are displayed in a popup beside the password field.
Note – If your current password does not meet our new password complexity requirements, you will see the following message: “Your password no longer meets our security standards.” Users must reset their password to comply with our new security standards.
New account lockout warning modal
The platform currently locks a user out of their account after 5 incorrect password attempts. This feature implements a popup that warns the user of their last attempt and prompts them to reset their password before locking themselves out.
Vendors can now see the visible/hidden badges on deliverables
Some platform users utilize the visible/hidden markers as a means of QA’ing deliverables. To keep their vendors in the loop, we have allowed vendors to see these badges on deliverables. Please note that on projects where this feature is not enabled (hiding deliverables by default), vendors will see the “Visible” badge on all deliverables.
Additionally, we have also moved the “Final” badge to display below the thumbnail for all users.
Link to the StudioNow Knowledge Base now available in the side menu
The StudioNow Platform has an associated FAQ and historical records of our weekly release notes available in our Knowledge Base, but not all of our users know how to access this information. We’ve included a link in the side menu to make that information more accessible.
Refactor of Portfolio Example links
The StudioNow Platform supports YouTube and Vimeo in the Portfolio Examples section of our bid submission form. This refactor allows vendors to include clickable links to other video examples on other video distribution platforms as well. These video links will not play in-app, but will allow a more user-friendly experience while reviewing work.
Remove RFP error modal
We found the addition of this modal to be redundant. The information displayed in this popup is already being displayed in the red “warning” badge.
Fix some text input auto-resize issues in Internet Explorer and Firefox
The StudioNow Platform utilizes auto-resize in a number of our input fields. Text input areas are now more compatible across major browsers and should expand properly as text is added.
Improved communication with vendor companies
We cleaned up some of the issues around communication with vendors. On direct assign (rate card) projects, producers can now choose to have a conversation with individual members of a vendor company and are not limited to communicating with an entire company.
Reposition remove URL option for Reference URLs
The “X” for this section of the Intake Form and the RFP Form was inconveniently placed and difficult to use. It has been repositioned for improved visibility and functionality.
