When a vendor is requested to update a bid, the vendor will receive their previous bid in a editable format. This allows them to make edits without having to re-enter previously submitted information. The vendor could very easily click “Resubmit Bid” and not change a thing if they wanted. The vendor may also decide to decline the bid update.
When requesting a bid update, the project manager may send a message to the vendor specifying a reason for the bid update request.
