Bids page revamp
Vertical bid cards
The most obvious difference in the new design is a vertical bid card layout. The old horizontal card design required users to open a menu to see all of the revisions and their high-level details. The new design makes every bid and revision visible at once, making it easier to compare revisions and quickly take actions.
Front and center bid details
The old Bids Page featured massive vendor cards, which often pushed the details off smaller screens. This resulted in a lot of scrolling up and down for users. Bid details now float to the top and take up almost the entire screen, which makes a ton of sense considering this is where projects are won and lost.
For the first time, bids can be smoothly managed from a mobile device with 100% of the desktop functionality. You'll notice that the bid cards stack beautifully with collapsible menus to reveal various revisions.
If you tap into a specific bid, you're taken into the details and can easily get back to the big picture.
- Little green dots will indicate when a new bid or revision has been received.
- Reasons for bid update requests now persist while an update is pending.
- Users can now hide individual revisions instead of just entire bids. This hidden functionality also hides bids from externally shared Bid Pages at the time of their creation.
